Bergen Group Hosts Vigil For Charlottesville Vicitims
Bergen Indivisible for Democracy (BID) held a vigil at the Tenafly Peace Plaza Sunday night.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A grassroots Bergen County group hosted a vigil Sunday as a show of solidarity with the tragedy that occurred in a "Unite the Right" rally in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Bergen Indivisible for Democracy (BID) held a vigil at the Tenafly Peace Plaza Sunday night, one of many held throughout the country after three people were killed in events related to the rally, including a counter-protester and two Virginia State Police troopers.
Rep. Josh Gottheimer (NJ-5) issued a statement about the killings on Twitter Saturday. He said, "the anti-American, white supremacists in Charlottesville have no place in our society. I stand with all working to end this intolerance."
