Beyond Fat Choy: 3 New Restaurants Are Coming To One Bergen County Downtown

The NY Times named Fat Choy one of the 50 best restaurants in the U.S. a month after it opened. Will other new restaurants be contenders?

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — When the New York Times released its "Best Restaurants" list for 2023, only one New Jersey eatery was on the list, and it hadn't even been around more than a few weeks.

Fat Choy in Englewood, an Asian and vegan restaurant, caught their attention after starting out in Manhattan and then opening in Bergen County in August.

But Englewood's got many other popular eateries in its downtown, and three others have signage in their windows saying they'll be joining the scene as well.
