Big SNOW At American Dream Likely Closed Until 2022 After Fire
Tickets had already been refunded through Oct. 31, but as the reopening process moves forward, officials said they need more time.

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ — Big SNOW officials released an update on the reopening process after a September fire shut down the indoor ski slope at American Dream. Though things are moving forward, officials said, it looks like the earliest the facility could reopen is the beginning of 2022.
No one was injured in the Sept. 25 fire, and officials said most of the damage was kept to a small area of the facility. However, repairs will need to be made.
Officials had previously refunded tickets for visits scheduled through Oct. 31, and will now refund purchases scheduled through the end of December.

"Our team has made great progress in the reopening process; however, we are not yet ready to welcome you back to Big SNOW as there are still several items that need to be addressed. Based on current timelines, we are tracking towards an early 2022 re-opening. We remain optimistic that this can change for the better, but we wanted to be transparent with you."
