Burglar Took Cash, Had A Snack From Ridgewood Home: Police

Money was taken from two village homes in overnight burglaries recently, police reported.

A resident reported that their home was burglarized between 2 and 6 a.m. July 20; money from the kitchen counter was taken and leftover food in the refrigerator was eaten, authorities said.

Another resident told police Saturday that sometime overnight someone entered their home through an unlocked window and took a ”small amount of cash and other small items,” authorities said.

Police are investigating both incidents.
