Held on the grounds of the Hermitage Museum, this event is open 10 am-4 pm and will feature gourmet food trucks and live music throughout the day. Join us and shop with many top-notch exhibitors selling quality items, arts and crafts, and collectibles. All exhibitors are hand-picked and chosen for their unique items, hand-made creations, start-ups, and well-groomed businesses, and together they create this posh marketplace.
Food &amp; Music Come Hungry! See below for all the food trucks that will be there. Stay awhile and enjoy the “Sounds of Richie G”, playing from 11:30 am-3:30 pm.
<a href="https://thehermitage.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">The Hermitage Museum</a> This is a historic house and museum depicting the history of over 250 years in New Jersey. Visitors can visit this museum to take a tour of the house, view their collections through various exhibitions and also take part in their educational programs and lectures. This museum is run by the Friends of the Hermitage Inc. who also organize various events that take place on the grounds of Hermitage, attended by a lot of people who come to participate.

The entrance fee is $5 per person. Under 12 is free. Parking is free at the museum’s parking area.

<h3>Noel Schulz and members of the archives committee at Garretson Forge and Farm will present The Archives Project, a presentation and discussion about our work to review, organize, and catalog the mountain of records from the Garretson/Van Wagenen family and property.</h3>
<h3>The first half of the presentation will describe the process of this work. The second half will show some of the documents found on the property, as well as documents and newspaper articles found elsewhere about the Garretsons.</h3>
Join us for this wonderful presentation that opens a new collection for researchers.
About the Speakers Gwynne Keresty, April Barth, and Noel Schulz did not have prior experience processing archive materials before taking on this project, only an interest in this history. They sought expert advice on how to organize and protect these documents and tackled the project with the help of other volunteers.
About Garretson Forge &amp; Farm Garretson Forge and Farm, listed on the National and New Jersey State Historic Registry, is one of the oldest historic sites in Bergen County, New Jersey. Settled in 1719, this Dutch Colonial homestead was home to six generations of the Garretson family. Their homestead remains a rare surviving example of a simple farming life that was prevalent in the 1700s and 1800s. On Sunday, May 17, Parlance Chamber Concerts’ 18th season will conclude with a star-studded, all-Brahms finale. The acclaimed violinist Chee-Yun will be joined by two extraordinary young artists: cellist Sterling Elliott, praised for his “astonishing maturity” (The Millbrook Independent), and pianist Henry Kramer, whose Brahms playing has been described as “thrilling and nearly flawless” (Cleveland Classical Review).
The program opens with Brahms’s dramatic Violin Sonata in D minor, followed by the lyrical Cello Sonata in F major. The concert culminates in the towering Piano Trio in B minor, uniting all three artists in a powerful and expressive close to the season.PROGRAM:
