RIDGEWOOD, NJ — A car skidded into a Japanese restaurant in Ridgewood during the weekend's snowstorms, toppling a street sign and damaging the building, police said.

But the manager of Sakura Bana said the sushi spot will be open for normal business hours this week.

Sakura Bana manager Adema Agapito said the restaurant, which is closed on Mondays, was able to open for normal hours Sunday and will reopen Tuesday. She noted the damage was minor, sharing photos of a few bricks that were struck.

"Come back," she said, when asked if she had a comment for customers. "We are OK!"
