Rep. Josh Gottheimer Receives Endorsement From Barack Obama
The 44th President released a list of endorsements Monday, including Gottheimer and four others from New Jersey.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — Congressman Josh Gottheimer can add another big name to his list of endorsements in former President Barack Obama.
On Monday, Obama put out a sweeping list of endorsements for 2020 state elections, which included Gottheimer in the Fifth Congressional District.
Others on the list from New Jersey include Mikie Sherrill in the 11th, Amy Kennedy in the Second, Andy Kim in the Third and Tom Malinowski in the Seventh.

I’m proud to endorse this diverse and hopeful collection of thoughtful, empathetic, and highly qualified Democrats. If you’re in one of their districts or states, make sure you vote for them this fall. And if you can, vote early—by mail or in person. https://t.co/PSm3Rf3wkF pic.twitter.com/7RXrJriBz8

Gottheimer beat Glen Rock council member Arati Kreibich during July's primary elections.
"I am honored and humbled by the overwhelming support we received in this election. It is a decisive endorsement of our Democratic ideas and Jersey Values, from affordable health care and racial justice, to clean water and lower taxes for our families," said Gottheimer in his victory statement.

Though this may be his biggest, it certainly isn't Gottheimer's first noteworthy endorsement.
Already, he's been endorsed by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and New Jersey Senator Cory Booker.
