RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Positions on school boards in towns in New Jersey are unpaid, but you get to influence young minds. You also get to help determine how educational resources and taxes are allocated and spent.

For the towns in New Jersey who have school board elections this Nov. 7 — the same day as the general election — the deadline to file the appropriate paperwork with your local county officials is July 31.

This includes Ridgewood, which will have two seats up for election on its five-member board. See more details here.
