Driver Hits Parked Car And Post Office, Sending 3 To Hospital: Glen Rock PD

A man suffering an apparent medical episode struck a car and careened across the Glen Rock Post Office lawn, police said.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — A man suffering an apparent medical episode struck a parked car and then hit the Glen Rock Post Office on Friday night, police said.

Three people had non-life-threatening injuries and were treated at the hospital, said Glen Rock Police Chief Michael Trover.

Around 5:23 p.m., police responded to a two-car crash at the Glen Rock Post Office.

A preliminary investigation determined that a man was driving north on Glen Avenue when he had an "apparent medical episode" and hit a parked car facing south.

The driver crossed the post office lawn and hit the flagpole and wall.

Three people in his car suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.

The post office did not sustain damage, Trover said.

No summonses have been issued and the crash is under investigation, Trover said on Saturday.
