Early Dismissal Friday For Ridgewood Schools Due To Weather

With freezing rain and sleet in the forecast, Ridgewood Schools will dismiss students early on Friday, Feb. 4.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Ridgewood Schools has decided to dismiss students early Friday afternoon because of freezing rain and sleet in the forecast.

All after-school activities are canceled, and lunch will not be served.

Bergen County is under a winter weather advisory until 7 p.m. Friday, the National Weather Service announced yesterday. Total ice accumulation should be under an inch.

RED Program and REACH PreK dismiss at 12:45 p.m, as do grades K-5. Grades 6-8 dismiss at 12:15 p.m., and grades 9-12 dismiss at 12:10 p.m.
