Envelope Full Of Hundreds Of Dollars Found In Bergen County: Police
It wasn't all about the Benjamins when someone found an envelope full of hundreds of dollars in cash in Glen Rock.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — It wasn't all about the Benjamins.
A person who found a bank envelope with $600 cash in Glen Rock on Friday turned it into police,
Chief Dean Ackermann told patch that a local resident found the envelope on a Public Service right-of-way between Ridge and Highland roads, a popular route for pedestrians.

The person turned it in to Officer Sebastian Zuniga.
Police determined that the funds had been withdrawn earlier that day from the Bank of America in the Central Business District.

The person's spouse posted on social media about the lost money, so police were able to find the owner and return the funds.
Ackermann said the resident dropped the money while walking home from the bank.
"This incident highlights the honesty and integrity of our community members," Ackermann said.
