Former Glen Rock Officer Sentenced To 3 Years In Sexting Case: Report
Eric Reamy, 52, also pawned guns the Glen Rock Police Department had, authorities said.

GLEN ROCK, N.J. — A former borough police sergeant who worked with juveniles was sentenced to three years for sexting two teenage girls he was supposed to be supervising.
Eric Reamy, 52, of Fair Lawn, was arrested in August 2015 and accepted a plea deal in March after a months-long investigation that began after the mother of a 17-year-old girl showed police "inappropriate" messages from Reamy she found on her daughter's cellphone. He had been the police department's juvenile officer.
Superior Court Judge Susan J. Steele said in a report on NorthJersey.com that the sentenced “needs to send a message to the community that this court will not tolerate this type of conduct on behalf of law enforcement.”

Authorities discovered another victim, a 14-year-old girl, who Reamy sent pictures of his genitals to, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office said when Reamy was charged. The girl sent Reamy a topless photo of herself at his request, authorities said.
Reamy will have to register as a sex offender under Megan's Law, pay medical expenses for the two victims, can never again hold public employment, and will be on parole for life.
