Retro Fitness of Fair Lawn offers cardio and weight machines, personal training, tanning, and other things you've come to expect from a gym—but you can burn calories while watching movies from the 1980s.

The "RetroRoom Theatre" is among the features that turn back the clock at this Pollitt Drive gym, and looking forward, Retro is offering special February promotions. The enrollment fee this month is just $9.99 (it's normally $129.99), with a per month fee of $19.99 over the course of a 12-month membership contract.

Additionally, from Feb. 13-15, the gym will give the first month of membership free to anyone who signs up over that three-day period. You can also add unlimited tanning to any membership for $9.99 per month.

Spanning 17,000 square feet, Retro has "So much equipment you'll never have to wait again," according to the gym's brochure. Members can also have access to childcare, the "Retro Blends Juice Bar," and the Direct TV NFL Sunday Ticket package.

Retro Fitness is open 5 a.m.-11 p.m. Monday to Friday, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, and 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. For more information on the gym, which is located at 18-01 Pollitt Drive, call 201-773-6040.
