Glen Rock Farmers Market Merchants Helping Others To Age Well
Healthy Aging Day is the theme of this week's Glen Rock Farmers Market.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — Local merchants will feature products and recipes that promote healthy aging at the Glen Rock Farmers Market Sunday.
Farmers, chefs and others will offer activities and products that support longevity.
Dacha Fermented Veggies, Kimchi Culture and AuBrothier’s will explain how their products support health and longevity.

Farmers such as Jeff Wallace of Growing Dirt will sell pasture-raised eggs and meat. Others include Prospect Hill Orchards and Top Of The Mountain Honey.
Merchants will feature a variety of homemade foods, including handmade empanadas from Serrano Empanadas, fermented vegetables from Dacha, vegan and traditional kimchi from Kimchi Culture, allergen-free cupcakes from Mo'Pweeze and all-natural soups from Simply Soupreme.

Activities include Yoga and painting.
Alex Scheinfeld, a 92-year-old with Parkinson's Disease who started painting in his 80s.
Girl Scout Jill Wilson will be there with her grandfather Phi Grabow, a 77-year-old who lives an active life despite having Parkinson's Disease.
The farmers market is held Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. until Oct. 15 at the Borough Hall employee parking lot. The No. 175 NJ Transit bus and the Glen Rock Boro Hall train line stop across the street.
