Glen Rock Multi-Religious Service To Be Held Thanksgiving Eve

Donations will be accepted to help needy Ridgewood, Glen Rock, and area residents.

The annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Eve Worship service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Nov. 25 at 7:30 p.m.

The Religious Communities of Glen Rock is hosting the service. The organization includes representatives from all the religious institutions in town.

Attendees are asked to bring a monetary offering and non-perishable food items to donate. Money collected will be donated to the Social Services Association of Ridgewood. The non-profit provides temporary assistance to residents of Glen Rock, Ridgewood, Ho-Ho-Kus, Midland Park, Waldwick, and Wyckoff. Check donations can be made payable to “Religious Communities of Glen Rock”.

Several members of the Glen Rock religious community will lead worship. Rabbi Jennifer Schlosberg from the Glen Rock Jewish Center will preach.

A reception will be held after the service.
