Glen Rock Paints Blue Line In Support Of Police Department
Red, white, and blue line were painted in front of Glen Rock Borough Hall in support of the police, fire, and EMS departments.
GLEN ROCK, N.J. — A blue line was painted down the middle of Rock Road in support of the borough's police department.
The line goes from train track to train track. Such lines have been painted downtown and in front of police departments across the state as a way of showing officials' support of local law enforcement officers. Municipalities throughout North Jersey, including Wyckoff and Wayne, have painted similar lines.
"We know that the Glen Rock Police Department always has our backs and we, as a community," have theirs," Mayor Bruce Packer said.

Additionally, blue, red, and white lines were painted in the middle of Harding Plaza in front of the borough hall in honor of the police and fire departments and the borough's ambulance corps.
"We truly value our volunteers who give their time and energy to be there 24 hours a day, when our lives are potentially at risk," Packer said.
