Glen Rock Police Investigating Residential Burglary
Nearly $3,000 worth of jewelry and other goods were stolen from a home on Maple Avenue, police said. An investigation is underway.
GLEN ROCK, NJ — Police are investigating after nearly $3,000 worth of jewelry and other goods was stolen from a Glen Rock home near Central Elementary School.
Officers responded to reports of a burglary at the 500 block of Maple Avenue on Jan. 20 at 5:04 p.m, police said.
A preliminary investigation determined that at least one person entered the home through an unlocked back door sometime between 2 and 5 p.m. Police said the burglars "ransacked" second floor bedrooms, and the resident of the home reported $2,900 worth of jewelry and other items missing.

The scene was processed by the Bergen County Sheriff's Department BCI Crime Scene Unit, and a canvass of the area was conducted.
Glen Rock Detectives are actively investigating, police said.
