Glen Rock Tree Lighting Doubles As PBA Toy Drive Collection

GLEN ROCK, NJ — The annual tree lighting is scheduled for Saturday, and this year, patrons can also donate toys to the PBA toy drive while watching the tree illuminate the town.

PBA officials will be at Kilroy's on Saturday collecting, new toys and books for kids at the Saturday lighting, scheduled for 7 p.m.

According to officials, the toy drive will help benefit local children who may have to spend the holidays in the hospital, or a local family in need. The drive will also aid these organizations:

• Tomorrow's Children Hospital
• Military Families and 508th Military Police
• Sanzari Children's Hospital
• Valley Hospital Pediatric Center

The tree lighting isn't the only chance to donate, however. Gifts can be dropped off at these locations as well:

• Sasha Hair & Nail Design — 199 Rock Rd.
• The Curious Reader — 229 Rock Rd.
• Kilroys Wonder Market — 288 Rock Rd.
• Mathnasium — 236 Rock Rd.
• Glen Rock Municipal Building — 1 Harding Plaza

The borough will also play host to a full day of events at the Home for the Holidays event, scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
