Happy New Year: Valley Hospital Welcomes 2022's First Baby
The first baby of the New Year has been delivered at Ridgewood's Valley Hospital.
RIDGEWOOD, NJ — The first baby of 2022 has been born at Ridgewood's Valley Hospital, officials announced on New Year's Day.
"Please join us in welcoming Zion, our first baby of 2022," officials said, on Facebook.
"Zion arrived at 4:53 a.m. on January 1, weighing 7 lbs, 11 oz. Congratulations to proud parents Sarah and Donovan."

A photo of the mother, father and child can be seen below, posted on Valley's Facebook page.
Zion wasn't the only baby born on the first day of 2022, either.
