Harmony Celebration Chorus Hosts "How to Sing Harmony Series"

The award-winning Harmony Celebration Chorus is offering all levels of women singers the opportunity to attend a four-week instructional series on Choral Harmony Singing beginning June 6 and each Wednesday evening during the month of June at 7:15PM. Workshops will be conducted by highly qualified instructors, including International winners and certified directors. They will be held at the chorus’s rehearsal site, Temple Israel, 475 Grove Street, Ridgewood, NJ. Although singers are encouraged to attend all four workshops, those unable to do so are welcome to participate when they can. These workshops are free and open to women of all ages. Women who have previously enjoyed choral singing as well as those with minimal vocal experience are encouraged to join in the workshops. After each instructional session, all participants will be invited to join the chorus in learning to sing a Carole King Medley in four-part harmony.

Harmony Celebration Chorus is a group of fun-loving, hard-working, dedicated women who love to sing, performing a variety of popular music from past decades to the present. HCC members believe you’ll find your experience with this group to be uplifting, inspiring, and pure joy and fun! Under Certified Director, Scott Brannon, the chorus boasts of several regional competition awards, earning the opportunity to compete at the International level, and regularly presents performances in New Jersey as well as New York City, also producing their own annual show. The Chorus works toward consistently improving our sound while we enjoy the fun and comeradery of a closely-knit group that loves to learn and laugh.
