Here's What People Think Of Ridgewood's New Office Tavern Grill

The reviews are in for the newly-relaunched restaurant.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — It has been about a month since The Office Tavern Grill reopened downtown and the reviews of the revamped casual restaurant and sports bar are in.

People seem to like the changes the 40NORTH Restaurant Group made to the restaurant.

"The ambience of this place is incredible. I love the bar area and the drink menu all on an iPad is such a great touch," reviewer Kassie K. said the businesses' Yelp! page. "Very unique selection of drinks and food."

Others agreed.

"Very pleased with the new menu and interior. Had been here several times in the previous setting and this is a vast improvement all around," reviewer Brendan R. said. "Had the sweet potato nachos as an appetizer, which was unique and enjoyable. Wife had crispy chicken sandwich and I had the Banh Mi both were great."

The tavern added new "road trip" menus featuring a selection of items from around the country and new signature items like the Chicken and The Egg, deviled eggs topped with buffalo chicken, sweet potato nachos, southern fried duck, seafood paella and the Chestnut Street Burger topped with gruyere cheese and served with a black garlic ketchup.

The bar features 40 rotating beers on tap, an extensive list of craft beers and speciality cocktails, old-style copper beer kettles and temperature-controlled recessed wine coolers.

The restaurant is open seven days a week: Sunday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday through Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m., Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Brunch is Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and happy hour Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.
