Here's When You Can Watch Bergen County Singer Jake Thistle On 'American Idol'
Bergen County native Jake Thistle will audition for Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan, and Carrie Underwood on "American Idol." Here's the air date.

PARAMUS, NJ — The producers of "American Idol" have revealed the date when Bergen County singer Jake Thistle will appear on the show.
Thistle had announced on social media last month that he'd be part of the upcoming season of the program.
He graduated from Paramus High School in 2022, released two singles in 2023, performed around the country, and now he'll get what may be his big break.

On Friday, representatives said that the first episode featuring Thistle will air on Feb. 16.
Thistle will audition in front of Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan, and Carrie Underwood in hopes of becoming the next "American Idol."

The show airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
Making Music
Thistle's music blends classic rock with modern pop.
After graduating from Paramus High four years ago, he attended Rutgers, graduating last month.
Thistle started playing gigs at 10 years old, said a release from the time of his debut. He has since performed with the Heartbreakers, John Hiatt, Earl Slick, and Jim Keltner.
He recorded his debut album, Down the Line, during the COVID-19 pandemic. After the debut, he was featured on CBS News, Billboard, BBC Radio, and other networks.
He's also involved in raising money for charities, including thousands for the American Cancer Society, WhyHunger, and Tazzy Fund/Rock the Dogs.
