Hit-And-Run Crash In Hudson County Leaves Man Seriously Injured

HUDSON COUNTY, NJ — A hit-and-run driver left a 28-year-old man with life-threatening injuries early Saturday morning, prosecutors say.

The office of Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said that a vehicle hit the pedestrian around 2:10 a.m. on Saturday, June 1 in Guttenberg, near Park Avenue and 70th Street.

The victim was taken by Emergency Medical Services to Jersey City Medical Center, where he remains in critical, but stable, condition, prosecutors said Sunday.

The Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and the Guttenberg Police Department are actively investigating the circumstances of the case.
