James Boyan was 62 when he passed away Monday evening, November 28, after fighting cancer for two years. He was very active in Glen Rock Baseball and .
He is survived by his wife Melanie, his children Keira, James, Maura and Colin and his grandchild, Claire. He was determined to see his oldest daughter married and when he was successful with that, made it his goal to live long enough to see the birth of his first grandchild, which he did.
The wake is Thursday, Dec. 1 from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, Dec. 2 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at The Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff. The funeral is at St. Catharine's on Saturday 11 a.m.
