Jersey Mike's Subs Opening In Ridgewood Next Year

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — A Jersey Mike's Subs restaurant will open in the village early next year.

The restaurant will be located at 305 East Ridgewood Ave., said Christine van Moorsel, a spokesperson with Splash Communications.

The restaurant will open in the first quarter of 2017, van Moorsel said.

There are six Jersey Mike's Subs restaurants in North Jersey: in East Rutherford, Northvale, Rochelle Park, Ramsey, and two in Wayne. A seventh will open in Emerson Wednesday.

Jersey Mike's Subs was founded in 1956. There are more than 1,500 restaurants open and in development nationwide. Earlier this year, Restaurant News named the company the No. 1 fastest growing chain in the nation for the third consecutive year.
