John F. Kraft, 54, Of Ridgewood, Navy Veteran And Beloved Uncle

Kraft died suddenly Saturday.

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — John F. Kraft, 54, unexpectedly died Saturday.

Born in Yonkers, New York, he lived in Ridgewood for more than 45 years.

He was foreman of a manufacturing plant for Trolex Corp. in Elmwood Park.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

According to his obituary, he will be best remembered for his love, devotion and dedication to his nieces and nephews: Zachary, Nicholas, Owen, Beatrice, Delia, Caitlin, Bryan, Eric, Nathan, Jack, Joy, Anna, and Andrew.

He was predeceased by his stepfather, Thomas.

He is survived by his father, Edwin; mother, Virginia; step mother, Judith; sister, Cynthia, and her husband, Joseph Spatola; brother, James, and his wife, Maryclaire; step sisters Victoria, and her husband, Eric Hague and Jennifer, and her husband, Douglas Milewski; and step brothers, Douglas, and his wife, Heather Bryan and John Donaldson, and his wife, Qu Li.

A memorial service is Friday at 10 a.m. at Christ Church in Ridgewood. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to a local American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals adoption center.
