Lorna Luft Will Sing Mom Judy Garland's Songs And Tell Stories In Bergen County

Somewhere over the highway, Lorna Luft will sign the music of her mother, Judy Garland, in concert in Bergen County this week.

MAHWAH, NJ — Judy Garland was born 104 years ago, and the "Wizard of Oz" star is still having an impact. Her daughter Lorna Luft, an actress and singer, will be performing her legendary songs in Mahwah this Saturday, and will tell stories as well.

"Using her unique perspective born from a lifetime in entertainment, join Lorna Luft as she shares favorites from the Great American Songbook," said Ramapo College, in an announcement. "Expect some songs made famous by her mother and film legend, Judy Garland, as well as stories from Hollywood, Broadway, and beyond as only she can tell them."

Luft, 72, is the child of Garland and producer Sid Luft, and the half-sister of actress Liza Minelli.
