Losing NJ Lottery Ticket Wins Bergen County Woman 'Million Dollar Replay' Prize
A Bergen County woman was among those who submitted a losing NJ Lottery ticket for a $1.5M cash prize. Now she's among winners.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ —A Bergen County woman is a little bit richer after she won one of 15 prizes in an event held in Atlantic City by the NJ Lottery on Friday.
The Million Dollar Replay Grand Prize Drawing was held at the Golden Nugget Atlantic City Hotel, Casino and Marina.
NJ Lottery players were invited to submit their losing tickets throughout 2025 for a "replay," or a shot at a new prize.

More than $1,500,000 in prizes were awarded, with the top prize going to Louis Massa of Essex County, said a NJ Lottery spokesman on Friday.
Fourteen other players walked away with prizes ranging from $10,000 to $100,000.

There was only one Bergen County winner: Magda Cifuentes, who was awarded $25,000, a NJ Lottery spokesperson said.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to see our players enjoy this unique opportunity to transform their non-winning tickets into life-changing prizes,” said New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James Carey.
