Man Dies In House Fire In Elmwood Park: Prosecutors

ELMWOOD PARK, NJ — A man died in a fire in Elmwood Park on Friday afternoon, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

Just after 2 p.m. on Friday, Elmwood Park police and fire units headed to a home on a report of a fire. They found a man inside the house. He was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries, prosecutors said.

Detectives and arson investigators from the Prosecutor's Office responded to the scene as well.

"No other information is available at this time while the investigation is underway, but more details will be released when possible," prosecutors said.
