Man Groped Teen Girl At Bergen County Business, Prosecutor Says
The man was the teen girl's manager, according to a Bergen County police complaint.
RIVER EDGE, NJ — A River Edge man was arrested on Wednesday for groping a girl at a local business, officials said.
Veera M. Bommireddy, 23, was charged with aggravated criminal sexual contact and endangering the welfare of a child, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office on Friday.

Prosecutors said that on May 7, the Hackensack Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding an alleged sexual assault.

An investigation determined that Bommireddy, "while having supervisory or disciplinary power over the victim, attempted to sexually assault a female juvenile while inside a Hackensack business."
A police report obtained by Patch identified the suspect as the girl's manager, but officials declined to elaborate.

The report says the girl was between age 13 and 15, and that Bommireddy intentionally touched her breasts and vagina while at the business.
A witness and the victim gave similar statements to the Hackensack police, according to the report.
Bommireddy was taken to the Bergen County Jail, made a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court, and was released to await further court action, prosecutors said.
