Man Killed In Midland Park Hit-And-Run: Prosecutors
A man was fatally struck by a vehicle in Midland Park on Friday, said Bergen County prosecutors.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A hit-and-run driver fatally struck a male pedestrian on a major thoroughfare through Midland Park on Friday night, prosecutors said.
The Midland Park Police Department responded around 7:09 p.m. on Friday to a pedestrian struck on Godwin Avenue, said the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.
Police determined that the involved vehicle left the scene of the collision, prosecutors said.

"The adult male pedestrian was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center with serious injuries, where he was ultimately pronounced deceased," prosecutors said.
They said no other information is available at this time, pending notification of the victim's next of kin.

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and Midland Park police are investigating.
