Mariano Rivera, Willie Randolph Host Bergen Book Signings

The baseball legends will be in Northvale and Ridgewood Thursday.

Two legendary New York baseball players will be in Bergen County this week to sign copies of their new books.

On Thursday, Bookends in Ridgewood will host former Yankee player and Mets coach Willie Randolph signing copies of his book The Yankee Way, and Books & Greetings in Northvale will host Yankee pitching great Marino Rivera signing copies of his book, The Closer. Both signings are happening at 7 p.m.

In memoir The Yankee Way, Randolph talks of his life growing up in New York and his time on the team. In The Closer, Rivera talks about his journey from the son of a Panamanian fisherman who didn’t own a baseball glove or speak English to one of the greatest relief pitchers of all time.
