Mom Of 2 Was Killed In Teaneck Crash, Fundraiser Says
A juvenile was charged in a crash in Teaneck last week. A fundraiser says the victim was a mom and the wife of a Bronx school principal.

TEANECK, NJ — A woman who was seriously injured in a car crash in Teaneck last week has died, leaving behind two children, a niece, and her principal husband, according to a GoFundMe fundraiser posted this week.
Dymond Fryson had just dropped her daughter at school the morning of Jan. 25, the fundraiser says, when a car driven by "juveniles who sped through multiple stop signs" crashed into her vehicle, sending it careening into the neighbor's house.
Last week, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office sent out a release saying a juvenile had been charged in the crash, which left a 40-year-old woman seriously injured. The crash had occurred at 7:55 a.m., prosecutors said.

"Our beloved Dymond Fryson, a devoted mother to her two wonderful children, and a loving guardian to her niece, tragically left us far too soon," the fundraiser says. "Her untimely passing has left her partner, Isaiah Brown, a dedicated school principal in the Bronx, NY, in raising three beautiful little girls and their faithful dog. I turn to you, our community, for help and strength."
The fundraiser notes, "As Dymond remained trapped in her car, fighting for her life, the juveniles fled the scene on foot. Dymond was then transported to a nearby hospital where it was determined that she had suffered brain death due to severe injuries to her spine and neck resulting from the crash.

"In the wake of this devastating loss, the Fryson-Brown family is faced with unexpected expenses such as funeral costs, medical bills, and the daunting task of securing a future for their three young children. Additionally, her absence has left the family emotionally damaged, which, to repair, bears its own financial burdens. I humbly ask for your support in helping this grieving family navigate through these challenging times."
The fundraiser, which says it was started by "close family friends," had raised $13,000 of a $100,000 goal by Thursday afternoon.
One donor, an administrator at Teaneck High School, wrote, "As Assistant Principal to [two of the girls], I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Fryson-she was a Wonderful mother/aunt, a warm advocate for the girls. May she rest in peace and power. THS will cover your daughter & niece with love and support."
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where Fryson had worked as a patient authorization specialist, shared news of her passing on Wednesday.
Her husband, Dr. Isaiah Brown, was a founder of Capital Prep, a charter school in the Bronx.
