New Sushi Restaurant Is Officially Open In Ridgewood

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — After holding its soft opening in late November, Maru Sushi held its grand opening last Wednesday.

"The moment we've all been waiting for has arrived!" the restaurant announced. "Join us as we proudly announce the Grand Opening of Maru Sushi, a haven where the art of sushi comes alive in every bite."

Besides the traditional rolls, signature rolls, and fresh sashimi, they have limited seating for omakase, a timed sushi experience in which chefs prepare and hand a series of sushi items to seated guests.

"Our restaurant is a sanctuary for sushi enthusiasts, a place where the rich heritage of Japanese cuisine meets modern innovation," they said on the website. "Step inside and embark on a gastronomic journey like no other, as we invite you to savor the exquisite flavors and craftsmanship that define our establishment."

They are tentatively open from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday, and 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
