Officials Want More Information About Troublesome Potholes
More than 2,000 potholes have been repaired off of 450 tips officials have received.

More than 2,000 potholes in Ridgewood have been repaired since residents began using an online reporting service based on the village’s website, officials announced.
Roberta Sonenfeld asked residents to “keep that input coming” in an e-noticed sent out Friday.
“Although our staff is also on the lookout for potholes, our best source of information is you,” the notice stated.

Residents reporting a pothole using the Ridgewood Service Request System (RSR) they’d like repaired must include an address where the pothole is located at or near and a description. The description should state how big or deep the pothole is or how many there are. The more, information the better, the better the RSR homepage states.
Residents should upload a picture of the pothole, but it is not a requirement of filing a report.
