Orpheus Club Men's Chorus to Present Holiday Concerts

Concerts to feature new arrangement of 'Joy to the World' and guest vocalist, soprano Kristen Plumley,

Orpheus Club Men’s Chorus presents its annual Holiday Concerts on December 8-9 in Ridgewood, NJ, with music for every taste, from classical to pop, sacred to secular.


The chorus will premiere a new arrangement of “Joy to the World” for men’s chorus, brass, timpani and organ. Our guest vocalist, soprano Kristen Plumley, will join the Orpheus men for a twist on “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.” Additional seasonal songs will include “Good King Wenceslas,” “We Need a Little Christmas” from Mame, and “Jingle Bell Rock.”

Orpheus is led by music director John J. Palatucci and pianist Ron Levy.

The concerts will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 9 at 4 p.m., at Ridgewood United Methodist Church, 100 Dayton Street, Ridgewood, NJ 07450. A reception will follow Saturday’s performance.

Tickets are available in advance, for $20, at www.ridgewoodorpheusclub.org, or call (201) 677-8439. At the door, tickets are $25, or $23 for seniors and students.
