2 Coyotes Seen Together Twice In Bergen County Town

GLEN ROCK, NJ — Police in one Bergen County town told residents to beware of two coyotes that were spotted together twice on Sunday.

Coyotes have attacked several people and pets in Bergen County since last fall, and killed a pet dog in Ho-Ho-Kus last October.

On Sunday, police in Glen Rock said the canine couple was seen in the Dunham Place area, then in a wooded section behind Faber Field, a sports field next to Glen Rock Middle School and High School.

Police wrote, "Residents are advised to maintain a safe distance from any coyotes and should not approach, follow, or attempt to interact with them. Pets should be kept on a leash and closely supervised while outdoors."

They said any additional coyote sightings should be reported to the Glen Rock Police Department.
