Ridgewood Business Is First In The County To Be Certified By National Autism Awareness Group

A Ridgewood business has become the first in Bergen County to complete Autism Awareness and Acceptance training offered from Missing Piece Awareness Inc.

Kidville, an all-in-one children’s enrichment center, offers classes in music, dance, art, and various kid-friendly activities.

“We want children of all abilities to visit and enjoy Kidville,” said owner Michael Pickholz in a statement. “It is our goal to provide families with an accepting, welcoming environment where their children can thrive, grow, and develop alongside their peers.”

Missing Piece Awareness trains and certifies employees in autism awareness and acceptance by using interactive activities and individualized support materials tailored to each business.

Missing Piece CEO Dianne Porter praised Pickholz’s effort to train his staff.
