Brendan Caltavuturo will participate in the CamAmMex Regatta in Mexico City in July.

Brendan Caltavuturo has been selected to row with the U.S. Junior Men’s team with U.S. Rowing.

Caltavuturo, a senior at Ridgewood High School, rows for Ridgewood Crew. It will be the most high-profile rowing appearance for the co-captain. He has already participated in a series of national and international events, including: the C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints in Boston, the world championship for indoor rowing, the Stotesbury Cup Regatta, the Garden State Championship, and the Philadelphia City Championship.

Caltavuturo attended the U.S. Rowing Junior National Team Training Camp in Pittsburgh earlier this summer to compete for a spot on the team. The program attracts the best young rowers in the country.
