The annual event will still happen, scheduled for Dec. 4, but some changes have been made. Here's what we know.
RIDGEWOOD, NJ — The Village of Ridgewood’s "Downtown for the Holidays" event has a revised plan, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The current plan is subject to change, based on what occurs with the COVID-19 pandemic in the coming weeks, according to a news release from the Village.
Currently, the event is scheduled for Dec. 4 from 6 p.m to 8 p.m. Streets will not be closed, so there will be no fire truck or trackless train, they announced.

The Village Christmas tree will be located at the corner of East Ridgewood Avenue and Broad Street, which will be glowing with lights. A walk through Memorial Park at Van Neste Square can start with a look at the tree, and a walk through the decorated pedestrian tunnel at the train tracks to see the tree at Station Plaza.
Both of these trees will be decorated with festive ornaments donated by residents, businesses, groups, and organizations, the Village said.
