Ridgewood Football Gets Shut Out Against Passaic Tech In Sectional Championship

Although they played hard the entire game and left everything on the field, the Ridgewood Maroons got shut out in the North 1 Group 5 sectional football championship against Passaic County Tech 27-0 at MetLife Stadium Saturday night.

The Bulldogs were on the Maroons all game. They plaed excellence defense and did not allow Ridgewood a chance to make a lot happen on offense.

Ridgweood was not the only area team to lose its sectional championship game this weekend. Glen Rock played with a lot of heart and determination against Mahwah High School Friday night. However, they lost to the Thunderbirds 38-13.
