Ridgewood Girls' Lacrosse Team Jumped 12 Spots In Top 25 Rankings
Team goes from No. 19 to No. 7 thanks Hannah Cermack's goal with 27 seconds to go.
The Ridgewood High School girls’ lacrosse team jumped 12 spots from No. 19 to No. 7 in the USA Today Super 25 Expert Rankings this week.
The Maroons beat previously undefeated Morrestown High School team last week 11-10. Hannah Cermack scored with 27 seconds left to end the Quakers’ 88-game win streak.
It was the first time the Maroons beat Morrestown, and the first time the Quakers lost, since 2011. Moorestown, which had been No. 3 last week and No. 2 for most of the season, fell to No. 8.
