Ridgewood Girls Lacrosse Team Wins Group Title, Earns Spot In ToC

Ridgewood is picked to beat Oak Knoll in their first-round Tournament of Champions match.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — The girls' lacrosse team won the North 1, Group 4 championship recently and now faces its toughest test in the Tournament of Champions.

The 21-3 Maroons face off against Oak Knoll for the first time this season in their first round game Wednesday. Ridgewood is 4-0 against Oak Knoll since 2015, NJ.com reported.

Ridgewood won the Tournament of Champions in back-to-back years, in 2010 and 2011.

Nicole Macolino leads Ridgewood with 86 points and All-American Lillie Kloak is tied for second on the team with 76. Kloak leads in the team in goals with 61.

NJ.com picked Ridgewood to beat Oak Knoll 10 to 9.
