Ridgewood's 5,973 residents of Irish lineage paces the rest of the county, though Waldwick has the highest percentage of residents with Irish heritage, according to census data. Ridgewood's Irish population grew 6.5 percent in the last decade.
Per the American Community Survey, Glen Rock has 2,528 residents of Irish descent, 21.9 percent of the population. That figure is down 11.7 percent over the last decade.
