Ridgewood has Bergen's Biggest Irish Community

The village has the largest population of residents with Irish heritage in Bergen County, according to an article on nj.com.

Ridgewood's 5,973 residents of Irish lineage paces the rest of the county, though Waldwick has the highest percentage of residents with Irish heritage, according to census data. Ridgewood's Irish population grew 6.5 percent in the last decade.

Per the American Community Survey, Glen Rock has 2,528 residents of Irish descent, 21.9 percent of the population. That figure is down 11.7 percent over the last decade.
