Ridgewood High Stadium Field Repairs Completed Post-Ida

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Repairs to the stadium field at Ridgewood High School have been completed, and the surface is now ready to resume games and practices, district officials said.

Patch reported earlier this week that repairs were ongoing after Tropical Storm Ida caused damages to the surface of multiple fields at the high school, but the repair process is nearing completion.

Officials added that repairs at Stevens Field are expected to be completed "in the [next] few days." Brookside Field has already been operational after the grass field sustained damages as well.

District officials approved two contracts with area companies to make repairs at Brookside Field, as well as the stadium at the high school and Stevens Field. The projects cost the district over $150,000 to complete.

At a recent Board of Education meeting, officials agreed to a contract with Monello Landscape Industries, Inc. for repairs at Brookside Field for $3,489. 86. An agreement for repairs at the stadium and Stevens Fields for $150,250 was also approved with The LandTek Group, Inc.
