Ridgewood International Film Festival Is Wednesday And Thursday
Actors from "Home Alone," "Gotham," and "Sex and the City" and "Real Housewives" Dolores Catania will be on the red carpet.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — The Ridgewood Guild's International Film Festival is Wednesday and Thursday at Bow Tie Cinema.
There will be 6 p.m. red carpet events both nights.
On the red carpet Wednesday there will be:

- Hollywood producer Scott Rosenfelt known for "Home Alone," "Mystic Pizza," and "Teen Wolf"
- Soap opera actors Cady McClain, Terri Conn, and Austin Peck
On the red carpet Thursday will be:
- Dolores Catania from "The Real Housewives of New Jersey"
- Terri Conn from "One Life to Live" and "As The World Turns"
Jack Mulcahy from "Sex and the City" and Taylor Purdee from "Gotham" will be on the red carpet both nights.

A variety of student films, including some from village residents, will be shown. Several of these films cover important current topics and are eye-opening as they are portrayed through the lenses of this younger generation, the guild said.
There will also be a question-and-answer time with award-winning writer-director Anthony Marinelli and Bergenfield High School film teacher Ashley McKee talking about the roles and possibilities for young filmmakers.
A special panel on Thursday will lead the discussion Women In Film: 2018 with McClain, Suzanne Ordas Curry, and Candy Straight. The women will discuss the need for and affect of women in the entertainment industry.
More than 75 films will be shown on both nights. Admission costs $10 per night and $5 for those 62 and older.
The festival ends with an after party and awards presentation at the Steel Wheel Tavern at 10:45 p.m. Thursday.
Tickets can be purchased online, at Mango Jam in Ridgewood, or at the box office on both nights.
