Ridgewood Resident Showcases Top Baby Deals On Website
Lia Littlewood, founder of littlelist.com, wants to help parents cut through the noise of buying things for babies and their families.
Trying to find the best deals on items for babies can be a daunting task. Just as Lia Littlewood.
“There’s so much out there,” Littlewood said. “There’s hundreds of places you can shop and everyone is trying to find the best deals for their families.”
To that end, Littlewood and her best friend had daughters two days apart and were shopping online when it hit her: Create a website where people can go to learn about the latest deals about the products they want to buy for their families. That’s when they founded littlelist.com.

The website reads like a blog, but has a bit of a commercial feel to it as well. Nothing is sold on the site, it is merely a place that points shoppers to the best deals Littlewood and her friend can find.
“If Amazon has a deal on a really hot stroller, we’ll post it,” Littlewood said. “We’re different because we look like a blog, but we’re really a service-based website.”

Littlewood has the process of deal-finding down to a science. What used to take all day she can now do in a fraction of the time.
“Give me an hour and I’ll find the best deals out there,” Littlewood said.
Littlewood’s vocation lends itself well to running a website like thelittlelist. She is a client manager for retail service providers for American Express.
“I hope it is the first step in a long journey, we hope,” Littlewood said. “We want the site to become a community for moms.”
