Ridgewood Schools Announce 2020 Community Art Project

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — Ridgewood Public Schools have announced the 2020 Community Art Project.

The theme of this year's Convocation was "HOPE," the district said, and the art installation was designed around a "Wishing Tree."

Art teachers from across the district will create a bulletin board to highlight their student's work, which will feature a "special yarn-wrapped branch."

A highlight of this art installation will be published in video form at some point this school year, the district said.

Additionally, a real tree will be planted in front of each school this year, the district said, to show their "commitment to do something positive for our collective future."
