Ridgewood Sets Christmas Tree Collection Dates

Here's when trees will be collected, and how to properly dispose of them.

RIDGEWOOD, NJ — The Parks Division will be picking up Christmas trees beginning in January, and Ridgewood officials have explained how to dispose of the tree properly.

Pickups will be scheduled on a Tuesday/Eastside and Thursday/Westside pattern, with trees being picked up on the Eastside of the Village curbside, not in the street, on Tuesdays, Jan. 4, 11, 18 and 25.

Trees will then be picked up on the Westside of the Village curbside, not in the street, on Thursdays, Jan. 6, 13, 20 and 27. All ornaments and lights should be removed from the tree, and trees shouldn't be placed in a plastic bag.
