Ridgewood Symphony Orchestra Performs Mahler and Danielpour
Audience members were treated to an evening of beautiful music.

Audience members received a special treat with the Ridgewood Symphony Orchestra’s recent performance of Mahler and Danielpour at the West Side Presbyterian Church.
Guest violist Brett Deubner played magically for a viola concerto called “The Voyager,” written by Richard Danielpour with Mr. Deubner specifically in mind.
And soprano Kristen Plumley’s performance with the full orchestra of Gustav Mahler’s 4th Symphony was exquisite.

Maestro Kyunghun Kim and the orchestra are preparing for the RSO’s next concert, to be held Saturday, June 25, at West Side. Pianist Ron Levy will be joining the orchestra playing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4, and Symphony No. 1, “Afro-American” by William Grant Still, will be performed.
